Elliott Wachs (Saxophone)

Elliott Wachs is a professional saxophone player based out of Denver. Before moving out west Elliott earned a Bachelor in Saxophone Performance from McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul MN. During his time in Minneapolis he recorded on 5+ albums and toured nationally/internationally with several original projects including McNasty Brass Band, Frogleg, People Brothers Band, Fall Of The House Of Usher, Improvestra and Mae Simpson. While playing with those groups, Elliott was fortunate enough to share a bill with acts such as Soul Asylum, Steven Tyler, Zack Brown Band, George Porter Jr, Jon Cleary and Melvin Seals.

He has been teaching the saxophone for over 14 years with multiple students earning college scholarships and continuing on to play outside of college. His approach towards teaching is to cater the curriculum towards the students interest while creating a solid foundation of technique and a routine that encourages consistent musical growth.
